Mammy's House is so much FUN!!!!

Every kid tries to go up the slide the wrong way! lol

So my mom is a grandmother and I know a grandmothers job is to spoil the kids, but Brooke and Chloe are going to like Mammy's house better then their own!! Mom just happens to find the coolest toys at yard sales! She paid a wooping 5 dollars for that slide...crazy eh?!

Yard sales out here are a bit different then the ones back east. For one, the run Thursday, Friday and Saturday with hours of 4-6pm on Thurs and Frid and from 8am to 8pm on Saturday. Secondly, they are pretty expensive for the most part. People seem to buy things brand new and then want to get all their money back. For example even on Kijiji they have baby swings selling for 120 dollars (used) go to Toys R Us and the same swing is 170 (new) why not spend the extra 50 dollars and get it brand new? I don't quite get it, but I haven't really been to a lot of yard sales this year, I went to quite a few last year tho.

The little brown rocking chair is my chair. Mom says I can have it back once we move to NB. Brooke loves that chair and I think it should stay at Mammy's because when Chloe gets old enough it's just going to be a fight over who gets to sit in it. lol

Big Sister Helping Mommy

I have figured out that in order to be able to feed Chloe peacefully and keep Brooke out of trouble, I just need to put a Baby Einstein movie on for Brooke have her sit on one knee and feed Chloe on the other knee. The other day Brooke decided she might like to feed Chloe. So I set her up so that she could. It took a lot of concentration at first, but eventually she got the hang of it.

"I got this" meanwhile Chloe looks a little scared! lol

When I went to burp Chloe, Brooke would get a little upset that Chloe wasn't on her knee anymore, she would babble at me in her own language and point to her knee. Saying...."Put her back here" lol

It all worked out fine until Brooke thought it was fun to put the bottle in her mouth so she would put the bottle in her mouth and then take it out, put it in....take it out...needless to say Chloe didn't find this game quite as fun as Brooke did.

Dinner at Ringos

It was great to see everyone and give them the exciting news that I was moving back. I didn't even recognize Kim when she came through the door with Jen, Melissa, and Darcy...I thought they had picked up some stranger and brought them to lunch! lol

A day at the Park

After the mother's left us with the two kids on our own and both went about their summers, Jeremy and I decided to take the kids to the park. Brooke loves the swing, then again she loves her swing so why not these ones?

The night before we had stopped at a little park and Brooke was in love with the slide. I think this one was a bit scarey for her as she didn't enjoy these ones as much.

Admit it...she looks a little terrified here! lol

Chloe's Crib

Here is Chloe's crib. Mom got her the side mobile and the girls at work gave me a gift certificate for Zellars and I happened to find the matching crib set there! So she matches all up!

Bath-time in the Sink

This is actually her second bath at home, but we were in a hurry to get her bathed the first time and it took two of us to do it, so the camera got forgotten that time. This time I did the bathing and the two grandmothers and Jeremy took pictures.

Introducing Chloe Autumn

Chloe has finally made her way into the world. Ohh boy has it ever been a journey and a half! lol I tell you c-sections suck and I don't ever want to have another.

Pictures from the Day Home

Before Brooke left the day home, I had asked Ashley to put some pictures on a disk for me. These are a few of the ones I picked to share for now. I'll save the rest for a day when I have nothing else to post! LOL Since Jeremy is gone for a week with Brooke and the cameras, I likely will not have anymore updates until he gets home.

First Ice Cream Cone!

Brooke's first ice cream cone! She of course started eating from the bottom first.

Which was great...she was really enjoying it!
Here she is testing to see if the top of the cone is still too cold! lol

"mmm Ice Cream!" So good, but soooo cold!

Couldn't leave Tucker out! He got an ice cream cone too, only his was dumped into a bowl!

Ice creams almost all gone! Trying to figure out how to eat the rest of the cone.

She started breaking off pieces of the cone.

All in all it was a pretty good experience. she got a little messy, and wasn't really impressed when the ice cream dripped from the cone onto her fingers. At that point she always just dropped the cone, but she wasn't long picking it back up!
