Some Videos!

As you can tell from the video, she wasn't cooperating with the rolling over thing, so Tucker decided he would come and help. He got put outdoors shortly after that! lol

Still no rolling over, but this video shows her squirming around! She gets herself all turned around I put her to bed facing the "head" o f the crib and I wake up and she's sideways every day! lol

I got her a new toy, it makes noise (as you will hear) and it lights up (as you will see). I wasn't going to get her anything for a toy when I was out, it was just to get garbage bags and milk, but she liked this so much that I had to get it for her.

Brooke and Cereal!

Last night I gave Brooke a bit of cereal before bed. Just to see if it would help fill her up. She's been sleeping through the night, but when she's awake during the day she eats like every 2 hrs. She was more interested in getting the spoon from me then actually eating the cereal! lol

This one is a little blury. As you can see I let her have the spoon, she wanted it so bad, lol

Oooopppssss She dropped it! lol But that's ok, She didn't eat a lot of the cereal, but she seemed to enjoy what she did eat. Was easier to keep her clean this time, she didn't like the face wash at the end tho! lol

Look What I Can Do!!!!

Brooke rolled from her tummy to her back today for the first time. And I was actually there to kinda catch it all with a camera, only I got too excited to take a picture of her actually in the last stage...laying on her back! lol

Something Edmonton has that's Missing on the East Coast

Last night Jeremy and I dropped Brooke off with JP and Kelly and went out for the night. JP and Kelly had asked to keep Brooke all night. I was a bit nervous at first, but here it is 12pm and I'm able to type in my blog uninterupted. I do miss her, and Kelly did call this morning and I got a little weepy when I heard Brooke playing in the background, but we still haven't gone to get her yet.

What did we do might you ask?....well....we went to the Ivory Club for dinner and duelling Pianos!!!!! That's right...it's a piano bar. Altho, when I say Piano bar you might be thinking Mozart...you'd be wrong, they played everything from Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy to Justin Timberlake. They had a request for Eminem, but we left before they actually got to play it. The piano players sing the songs as well, and they ask for audience participation, so you are requested to join in on the songs! We had dinner before the show started, it was a buffet, and it was wonderful. I didn't take my camera with me, however I borrowed a picture from the website so you can get an idea of how the evening went. The bald guys name is Shane and he had a lot of energy! He played the piano while laying under neath of it, that was kinda cool. I'm not sure who the other pianist is in this picture, but I'm sure they were good too. You see the jar on top of the pianos, that's for their tips. If you request a song, you give them a tip as well, the bigger the tip, the more likely your song will get played quickly. You would not believe the amount of 20 dollar bills they got! lol All in all it was a good evening and Jeremy and I both agreed that it was worth the money and it was better then going to some dance club or bar.

I really wish my east coast friends were here to go with us to this bar, because I think they would all have a blast! Darcy could have showed some of the girls that were dancing, how rhythm makes the world of difference. lol All the singing along, and dancing...oohhh we'd have a blast I know it! lol Alast, I'll have to enjoy these times with Jeremy and maybe JP and Kelly sometime. If I can find other baby sitters! lol

Jeremy and I got all dressed up to go out. I wore the dress I got for the Christmas Dinner for Jeremy's work and he wore the suit he bought. Kelly grabbed some pictures of us, but I haven't gotten them from her yet. There is a family picture in there as well that she took, of all 3 of us. I'll add them in here once I get them from her.

I was playing with angles to see if I could get another good picture of her...I mean all her pictures are good, but I wanted something other then her sitting up or laying on her back. Which she is still doing in this picture, but it's different. I'm not sure if I like it tho.

Lovin Bath Time

I'm not sure if you remember the pictures from her first bath, but she was screaming her head off! lol Look at the difference now!

I had her in for her first needles today. They of course weighed and measured her. She is now 22 and 1/4 inches long. I can't believe people have babies this big! lol

The first time I published this post, I forgot to put this little paragraph in. I figure everyone is going to want to know how she made out with her needles...well she screamed! lol And cried! and I felt bad and had tears in my eyes, but we both pulled through pretty good. It didn't take me long to get her calmed down. And She's been sleeping most of the day since, which the nurse said she might do, more sleeping and maybe less eating, but that it should only last a couple of days and then she'll be back to normal.

I think this is the first time that she's noticed her feet on her own...I've of course pointed them out to her...but she kinda noticed them herself today.

She's still not sure of the hands yet. She could spend hours just looking at them. lol Trying to figure out what they are supposed to do...lol They are pretty captivating as I can't get her attention to look at the camera! lol

Fishy Talk

This is Brooke's bouncy chair. This entertains her for long periods of time. I love this chair! lol
I took a video of her chatty away to the fishies! She's so adorable! lol Mom got to hear her chatting today when I was speaking to her on the phone. She loves to talk to her toys. I have a feeling she's going to be quite the Chatty Cathy when she gets old enough to make words!

The whole reason for having a blog is to make it so people could stay up to date! lol I've been emailing all the pictures out and putting them on here...talk about overload! For me and for you guys. So here is some new pictures of my baby girl.


I got this outfit at a yardsale yesterday, it was so fuzzy and warm looking that I couldn't pass it up...besides look how cute it is! Cute as a bunny!

Today, I got Brooke a Jolly Jumper. Don't worry she wasn't in it for very long (only about 5 mins) and her feet don't quite touch the floor yet. She wasn't sure what to think at first.

But she came around to it! lol I think she's going to love this thing like I did!

This is what Brooke wore today to the baby shower that was put on by the Officer's Wives. The Puppy was a gift from on of the girls. It's actually quite cool, it has a magic bag inside that you can heat up and put back in the puppy and then it will help keep her warm. Pretty cool if you ask me. Ohh and isn't her dress adorable?! (It was another yard sale find!!!)
