Trying on Daddy's Shoes

This was taken quite awhile ago actually, but I've been slow on getting stuff posted to my blog.

Jeremy had just returned from his last exercise and I caught Brooke trying on Daddy's shoes...what do you think?? A little big??

Introducing Chloe Autumn

Chloe has finally made her way into the world. Ohh boy has it ever been a journey and a half! lol I tell you c-sections suck and I don't ever want to have another.

Pictures from the Day Home

Before Brooke left the day home, I had asked Ashley to put some pictures on a disk for me. These are a few of the ones I picked to share for now. I'll save the rest for a day when I have nothing else to post! LOL Since Jeremy is gone for a week with Brooke and the cameras, I likely will not have anymore updates until he gets home.

First Ice Cream Cone!

Brooke's first ice cream cone! She of course started eating from the bottom first.

Which was great...she was really enjoying it!
Here she is testing to see if the top of the cone is still too cold! lol

"mmm Ice Cream!" So good, but soooo cold!

Couldn't leave Tucker out! He got an ice cream cone too, only his was dumped into a bowl!

Here she is eating more of the ice cream part and less of the cone!

Ice creams almost all gone! Trying to figure out how to eat the rest of the cone.

She started breaking off pieces of the cone.

All in all it was a pretty good experience. she got a little messy, and wasn't really impressed when the ice cream dripped from the cone onto her fingers. At that point she always just dropped the cone, but she wasn't long picking it back up!

At Beulah's last weekend, Brooke found the chip cupboard! lol She got into it and sat down by the cat to eat her stolen food!

"What?! I'm Innocent!"

Fort Edmonton Park

On Saturday May 30, 2009 I picked my friend Marje up and away we went on an adventure back in time to Fort Edmonton Park. It's kind of like Kings Landing only on a bigger scale. It has 3 streets, One is 1885 St (guess the year?!), 1905 St, and 1920 St. We stopped to show Brooke the horses (as she had never seen them before) She actually did not call them cats (which surprised me as everything is a "cat" lol Marje showing Brooke that it's ok to pet them.

Seconds before I took this picture both Brooke and Marje were giggling! lol

I thought this was too funny! Fire Hydrant!!! haha!!!

Had to keep a close eye on Brooke, she wanted to go pet the horses! Thank heavens Marje was there to give me a hand in keeping Brooke close!

I thought it was such a cute photo of them!

We had lunch at a little cafe on 1920 street...visited a little bazar on 1905 street and visited a bakery on 1885 St. We walked around the Fort in Edmonton as well. We also took a quick ride on the Steam Train!!! Marje is thinking of taking her Grandsons there so we left the street car and stage coach for adventures for her to discover with her family. It was a very nice day and I'm so glad Marje had agreed to meet up with us!

When we returned the extras from making the fence. While we unloaded the van we let Brooke roam around the van. This is how I found her when I checked on her. How cute are these pictures?!?!?
